RICK AND BUBBA....AND DAVID

You won't find David Marsh on the air with the popular radio duo, Rick Burgess and Bill Bussey, better known on the Birmingham airwaves as "Rick and Bubba". But you will find David behind the scenes, negotiating what is believed to be the most lucrative radio deal in the history of the state.
David has represented Rick and Bubba for several years now. He helped them make the deal that saw Rick and Bubba on the air at Birmingham radio station Y 94.5 (WYSF-FM) for the past seven years. While at Y94.5, "The Rick and Bubba Show" consistently ranked very high in the Arbitron ratings. Now, David has helped Rick and Bubba make the leap to Birmingham's country station WZZK (104.7 FM), in a five year contract. The duo went on air at WZZK yesterday.
David declined to discuss the details of the contract, however, he told the Birmingham News, "This is the largest package that I'm aware of in the history of the state".
David has represented other radio personalities, including John Ed Willoughby. Of course, most of David's law practice is devoted to handling personal injury and wrongful death cases. But he considers representing Rick and Bubba, and other radio personalities, a fun change of pace. Still, in the end, David says, "negotiations are negotiations".
