AROUND THE FIRM
Dear NONE,
We want to introduce you to Marsh, Rickard & Bryan's newest associates: Tracey Dotson and Taylor Powell.
Tracey is a 2003 graduate of Cumberland School of Law. As a former Emergency Room and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse, she brings to the firm nearly ten years of nursing experience and medical knowledge. "My nursing background is really proving to be useful as I work on all kinds of personal injury cases". On the personal side, Tracey is a voracious reader and an exercise buff.

Taylor is a 2006 graduate of Cumberland School of Law. He's a veteran of Cumberland's trial program, having won the Haley Mock Trial Competition in Spring 2005. He's also a graduate of The University of Alabama where he studied telecommunications. According to Taylor, he's "thrilled to have the job he wanted starting right out of law school". Taylor's long awaited honeymoon was cut short last week by the storms in Mexico; he and his bride had to hop on a plane mid-week to escape the floods.
Another member of Marsh, Rickard & Bryan, Tom Powell , will be devoting a good deal of his time in October and November to coaching the National Moot Court team at Cumberland. Tom will help prepare the studnets for their brief-writing and oral argument competitions, including the regional competition in Oxford, Mississippi in mid-November. Tom says, "Coaching the team will let me share what I have learned, sometimes the hard way, about oral arguments in front of an appellate court". We wish the team success!
