$16 Million Fraud and Medical Malpractice Verdict

A hard-fought two-week trial ends in vindication for a Birmingham couple.  Last night, a Jefferson County jury returned a verdict in the amount of $16 million for Caroline and J.T. Malatesta and against Brookwood Medical Center.  The Malatestas were represented by MRB attorneys David Marsh and Rip Andrews

$20 Million Etowah County Verdict

An Etowah County jury today returned a $20 million verdict against HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden in a medical malpractice case.  The case was tried by MRB attorneys David Marsh and Rip Andrews. They were assisted by co-counsel Bruce Downey.

$4 Million Houston County Verdict

In 2007, 77-year-old Thomas Doster was found on the floor of his hospital room after a fall.  A review of his medical records and a state investigation revealed that he was supposed to be in restraints at the time of the fall because he was such a high fall risk. 

Cullman County $4.5 Million Verdict

A Cullman County jury this afternoon returned a verdict in favor of the family of a woman who died as a result of a car crash with a police vehicle.  The family was represented by MRB attorneys David Marsh and Rip Andrews and Cullman attorney Gaynor St. John.

MRB Attorneys Get Verdict in Tuscaloosa County

Congratulations to Marsh Rickard & Bryan attorneys Derrick Mills and Jane Mauzy on getting a great result for their injured client at trial this week.  A Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court jury returned a $500,000 verdict today in favor of a 42-year-old Tuscaloosa man who was injured while on the job.

MRB Attorneys Get Medical Malpractice Verdict

A Mobile County jury awarded a family $4,500,000 in a medical malpractice case late yesterday. The case was tried by Marsh, Rickard & Bryan attorneys Ty Brown and Roger Lucas.  They were assisted by Mobile attorneys Allan Brown and Joseph McGowin.

MRB Attorneys Get "Gray Market" Tractor Rollover Verdict

Roger Lucas and Jeff Rickard of Marsh, Rickard & Bryan, won a $900,000 jury verdict in Marion County, Alabama, for a client who lost his right arm and suffered serious leg and hip fractures in a tractor rollover accident.  Attorney Bill Atkinson of Fite, Davis, Atkinson Guyton & Burt in Hamilton assisted Roger and Jeff during the week-long trial.
