Julianne is beyond thrilled to be Marsh, Rickard & Bryan’s first Research and Writing Fellow. As a former professional ballerina, Julianne developed a strong commitment to hard work and discipline. During her three years of dancing, Julianne loved performing an art in which she could communicate emotionally and intellectually to an audience. Now an attorney, she aims to utilize this artistry through arguments that effectively communicate the injustice her clients have faced and, in turn, the laws commanding its remedying.

In law school, Julianne focused her education on appellate practice by competing on the National Moot Court Team for two years and by participating in numerous oral advocacy competitions hosted at Cumberland School of Law. In addition to brief writing for moot court competitions, Julianne honed her writing and editing skills as a Research & Writing Editor on the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, the nation’s oldest law review dedicated to the art of trial advocacy. Julianne is excited to begin her career as an advocate by learning from the talented and passionate attorneys at Marsh, Rickard & Bryan.
