James “Jamie” Ernest Cory

I was born and raised in Alabama. Going to the University of Alabama and studying Finance was a great experience that allowed me to understand how businesses prioritize their values. From there, I attended Cumberland School of Law. I was awarded the Albert P Brewer Scholarship, made Dean’s list all semesters and was awarded to Scholars of Merit Award in Civil Procedure and Mass Torts. Also, I served as on the Editorial Board of Cumberland Law Review. I learned from my father to fight for those who need it most; he’s a trial lawyer, too. When I leave this world, I hope to have made an impact in helping those who need it most. Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their life. Helping those who are most vulnerable in society is something I take very seriously. I enjoy being outdoors with my wife Maddox and our two dogs Hampton and Cannon.
