A two-car accident outside Evergreen, Alabama, has resulted in the death of a 13-year-old girl. Alabama state troopers say that the teenager was not wearing her seat belt when the accident occurred. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the accident site.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. on a recent Tuesday afternoon. The deceased victim was riding as a passenger in a Hyundai being driven being a 43-year-old woman. Her car collided with a Mercedes being driven by a 40-year-old man.
Emergency responders rushed the female driver of the Hyundai to the hospital for treatment. The male driver of the Mercedes was also rushed to the hospital. At this time, authorities are investigating the unfortunate incident to discover its cause, and police have yet to cite anyone for the collision.
