Around the Firm: MRB Attorney Announces Awards to Volunteer Lawyer Programs

As President of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation, Jeff Rickard today announced ACJF is awarding a total amount of $90,000 to four separate volunteer lawyers programs so as to increase legal assistance to low-income families in the state of Alabama.

Those programs include the Birmingham Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Program; the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program; the Montgomery County Bar Foundation Volunteer Lawyer Program and the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program.  MRB attorney Jeff Rickard, who serves as the current President of the ACJF’s Board of Directors, stated he is “proud the Civil Justice Foundation can support the work of volunteer lawyers around the state”:
